Teaching
While at Michigan Tech I have taught across different skill levels, topics, and modalities.
I regularly teach Principles of Economics, Natural Resource Economics, and Managerial Economics. I appreciate that this mix of courses gives me access to both experienced econ students and students new to the discipline. In Principles, I enjoy witnessing the “light-bulb” moment when an economic concept clicks for a student. In Natural Resource Economics, I enjoy helping the students dig deeper into allocation models across a variety of resources.
During my time at Michigan Tech I’ve had a 2-2 teaching load, but in the last two years I’ve taught an additional section of online Managerial Economics in support of the MBA program.
